Due to aggressive growth plans Polestar is currently looking to recruit an EDS Engineer.

What you'll do

  • Collation and analysis of Electrical technical specifications using Polestar database and tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues within the circuit and EDS design
  • Participate in circuit audits, co-ordinating between designers and components owners
  • Participate in complexity definition and harness releasing activities for the EDS
  • Understand and drive the optimised design of power, ground and data networks ensuring compliance with Polestar and international standards along with functional requirements
  • Work with Polestar and supplier engineers to ensure efficient EDS design and that all functional and attribute targets are met
  • Attend and chair technical meetings with internal and external teams as required
  • Co-ordination of fault reports driving timely containments and final corrective actions
  • Support EDS and Electrical test activities at Polestar, test house and partner facilities
  • Identify, catalogue and communicate potential improvements in the EDS design to the Engineering team
  • Support EDS Project Lead with Technical and Project tasks as required

Who you are

You’ll have relevant automotive experience, with a high level of exposure to circuit design, complexity, electrical system design and development. Your experience will include a demonstrable track record of electrical design projects and a thorough understanding of part creation and releasing within an automotive OEM or Tier 1.
