We’re looking for an organized and process driven Business Operations Specialist to join the Polestar UK team. This is a key role reporting into the Head of Business Operations, where you’ll be supporting the development of the Polestar network across UK and Ireland, the progression of Net Promoter/Customer Satisfaction performance and taking responsibility for the co-ordination of commercial training in relation to Polestar Space personnel, Hand Over activity and Customer facing teams. We’re driving change in the automotive marketplace with a truly unique approach to the customer journey. What you’ll do

Investor Liaison

  • Supporting the Local Sales Unit in the development of the investor representation strategy, collating market analysis and preparing presentation packages towards prospective investor operators.
  • Assisting with communication flow towards investors as Space/Destination activation plans develop.
  • Responsibility for liaison towards the portfolio of investors in market. Agreeing the format to provide monthly updates and supporting investors in their annual and monthly forecasting requirements.
  • Assisting and coordinating the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews with investors.
  • Production of monthly remuneration reports towards investors and tracking of the investors’ commercial business development with Polestar.
  • Supporting the periodic review of investor business plans, typically at full and half year mark, to ensure they are tracking projected commercial performance and building in their commitments to support activities that Polestar require.
  • Co-ordinating, at a UK and Ireland market level each quarter, to ensure all Space and Destination Specialists are trained to Polestar requirements.
  • Bi-Monthly review and follow-up on Test Drive performance, NPS scores, customer satisfaction and mystery shop scores of Space and Destination locations.

Operations and project support

  • Working with incumbent finance providers to ensure FCA regulatory reporting is collated and submitted in a timely fashion each quarter.
  • Supporting the project management towards FCA accreditation for Polestar Automotive.
  • Liaising with Volvo Training and Development to ensure Polestar technical training can be delivered into Polestar Service Centres and tracking appropriate coverage with these competencies.
  • Support the transition of Polestar to a stand-alone position in terms of product and logistics, both in terms of UK new model and variant specification set up and UK customs importer requirements for new vehicles.
  • Supporting the UK vehicle team to ensure regulatory vehicle documentation and GB Type Approvals are submitted in accordance with the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) requirements. Ensuring that existing and new product applications are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating and handling vehicle set up activities for existing and new products, ensuring products are compliant with UK vehicle legislation.
  • Working with the SMMT to process Vehicle registration data for Polestar and setting up new model and variant specifications.
  • Supporting all areas of the Business Operations and wider Polestar team as required.

  • Passionate and enthusiastic about sustainability and electric cars.
  • Experience with data analysis, financial analysis, and market sales analysis.
  • Experience developing relationships with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken communication.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills: a collaborative ethos with a can-do  attitude and ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships.
