We are looking for a prestigeless, service minded student, motivated by challenge, charged by people interaction. We now have a part time opening for our newly opened offices at Lindholmen, Gothenburg. 


Let us describe the challenge we offer

In this position you will take great responsibility within office management and support for our Lindholmen offices, with some tasks spanning across other facilities as well. The main focus of the position is to ensure that the offices operate smoothly and efficiently as well as be an available point of contact at the entrance floor. We wish you to take initiatives on how to work with office management in the best way to make it a great place to work and visit.

This is a part position (50 %), requiring working onsite office hours Mon-Fri from our Lindholmen offices. You will share the week with another part time office manager, as well as maintaining a close collaboration with the office manageer at our headquarter. The position reports to our Facility Manager and is a part of our global HR department. 


What you’ll do

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Front desk management: Reception and visitor service
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment
  • Monitor and order office and food supplies
  • Maintain office equipment and report errors
  • Coordinate mail and deliveries
  • Coordinate and plan internal activities and events
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees, such as photoshoots, access cards, etc. 
  • Maintain office administrative systems and processes
  • Coordinate local health and safety related activities


Who you are

For this part time position we are looking for you in the beginning of your post secondary education, with at least two years left of your studies. You have the time and engagement for a part time job to combine with the studies, dedicating 20 hours/week working with delivering a great service experience for your colleagues and the office visitors. To be a great match we believe you have work experience from a service focused occupation, for example working with customer service, in restaurant or in a store.

We are looking for a passionate and service minded coordination star with a hands-on attitude. You are a prestigeless and proactive problem solver, challenges motivate you! To be a great fit for Polestar we also believe you have the ability to prioritize and work in a high-performance environment. You enjoy taking own initiatives who create value for the organisation.
