Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Principal Engineer - Validation you will support development and validation activities at vehicle and system level. You will support the process of test rig design through to execution.  You will be responsible for gathering data and reporting on results.

The Role:

  • Support vehicle and rig based systems testing activities including planning, preparation, execution and reporting out.
  • Design of rigs or fixtures using CATIA in accordance with system requirements.
  • Support data acquisition installation, setup, data analysis and reporting out.
  • Prepare, publish, and issue engineering reports ensuring DVP for system sign off is complete.
  • Support the creation of validation procedures.
  • Support test method development and/or continuous improvement projects as required.


  • You will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant area with at least 2 years of industry experience.
  • Desirable to have experience with vehicle / system testing methodologies including data logging and processing.
  • Demonstrable experience in a CATIA V5 and Teamcenter environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to troubleshoot and advise on solutions using standard risk management tools.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to practically resolve issues and innovate where required.
  • Good initiative, with the ability to manage own time and priorities.
  • A flexible approach to work, with a desire to thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and aural), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams within the organisation.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
